Tomorrow marks an important milestone for Autostadt.

Tomorrow we will have our first ever stand at any show and I don't think we could have picked a more appropriate one than VAGE 2014.

We'd like to thanks Paul aka 8valve and the rest of the VAGE crew for having us as guests at their show

On the stand we will have a diverse range of very nice motors from across the VAG brand - both old skool and new.
There should be something for everyone from OE classics through to some serious high performance machines.

So that you will find us, we have purchased a range of flags and banners so please please make an effort to come to the show and to drop over to say hello and help put more faces to names.

As we were starting from scratch, new banners and all that goes with them doesn't come cheap. So on behalf of the other founders and mod team we want to express sincere gratitude to a number of our loyal traders who very kindly donated voluntary funds direct to our chosen flag supplier. Without these donations it would not have been possible for what was a reasonably significant outlay to get us up and running with these items which we hope to use over and over again from here forward.

At this show we are also launching our new range of clothing and merchandise. Some of the mods and founders will be modelling some samples - as some will know Willie is no stranger for wedding dresses and charity gigs!

The range which is the first wave we will be launching includes polos, hoodies, 1/2 zip, full zip, sweaters/fleeces and of course the 2 hats you got a sneak preview of recently. More details next week when you will be able to buy them online direct from supplier.

So a big day for Autostadt, a big day for you all too, so please make every effort to support us and VAGE at the show and again drop over and say hello!

Unfortunately I cut a nerve in my hand the other evening, and have had surgery, so unable to drive

If I can mooch a lift I'll try make it down but not in the mk2

Just want to give a big "Thank you" to all the people who dropped by our stand yesterday to not only admire the cars on display but also the overwhelming support and well wishes. Much appreciated by all as it was our first so despite being long term attendees to many shows near and far we are still "newbies" doing it for ourselves! We do however think it was a huge success and we were very happy with quality of the flags and banners all of which was made possible by our forum traders mentioned above. Certainly a good test for the flags who stood up very well to the rain and wind

We also want to thank all those who prepared their cars, despite the weather, for the stand. Thought it was a great line up and the guys were very busy throughout the day openly sharing info/knowledge about their cars. I think Andy/Mycroft in particular may need a rest today due to the interest drawn in by his MK1

Don't like mentioning specific names but we have to give specific mention and thanks to James O'Sullivan/Dubz1 who brought along the marquee. There was some craic assembling it and keeping it on the ground during the high winds but it was enjoyed by many people during a few of the big down pours!

Lastly, thanks again to Paul Carroll aka 8valve, true gent, and VAGE for the show yesterday.
