Just experimenting Adam for the moment as you are right there is so much going on for you guys to follow and us to maintain.

That said there are changes in the wind - for example, FB is clearly running out of steam in certain ways where motoring enthusiasts stuff is concerned.

Maybe Forums aren't as bad as people started to believe.....at least you can find things....and let FB be a place for the * :) lol

I'd like to see forums grow and Facebook remain as it has its place. I do however see Facebook as a whimsical flick through for 60seconds type gig.
I love nothing more than a good build tread.

Looks like a cross between Instagram and snapchat where all the hip dudes can post all the fancy filter Polaroid snaps, load of unnecessary b0ll0x.

people said the same about FB then Kaboom! everyone ran there!

I wouldn't dismiss it. Like anything it is what you make of it. Just because someone posts hip pics doesn't mean we can't poke it and see if we can make use of it. And if we can't so be it. No harm done.

Mike, maybe make an attempt to tell the Autostadt members what it is all about and why Autostadt have now joined, might help people understand it a bit more and be more open to it.

Sure...

It's really as simple as the opening post....we're just experimenting at this stage. We are not quite sure what it is or if it is of any benefit to us. So I guess rather than ignore or dismiss it or claim its the best thing since sliced bread we're going to take a look first...play around with it and ask anyone interested help us. If we find a use, we'll use it and if we don't, we won't.

And it's like everything if you don't like it or can't use it then don't. Coming on and moaning about something you can ignore is a it of a waste of time. I wouldn't be able fan of the Facebook as I am of the forum but those youngsters who are desperately trying to grow in their man buns and mcgregor beards might prefer it.

Like you Murph I'm old school.
