Be aware. People have mentioned this in the past. This was happening in galway at the weekend. I'm not referring to myself but a lovely mk7 was left on blocks last night. Back lights gone too.

A man walked into a hotel gym in Mullingar. He walks up to the gym instructor and asks about classes, reaches over the desk as the instructor turns around and takes his cars keys. CCTV picked him up clear as day too as he walked to the door before driving calmly off in the instructor’s car.

That was months ago and the car was never found, nor the man that robbed it.

A lot of these lads aren’t scum. Some are professional, some are opportunistic and this is their job. And they don’t want to loose it.

Most don’t seem to want any confrontation too.

These are the same sort of lads that use lasers to find expensive jewllery in a house.

The problem is that you have to become a victim of crime before anything is done and if you’re not harmed, you are considered lucky.

My auntie’s house was robbed while she was away. There was literally no way on earth they would have found the safe only for technology. The detective mentioned they use some sort of laser that picks up expensive jewellery. Nothing was taken but they found the safe and tried to open it with knives and forks!

They wanted one thing and one thing only.

lol they had state of the art 'lasers' to find a safe but tried to open it with knives and forks ?

The mk7 parts won't show up for sale unfortunately, like Joes mirror caps they were probably taken to enhance the car of a member of an ethnic minority of no fixed abode for cultural reasons.

Because the house had Eircom Phone Watch, they knew exactly how long they had before the Gardaí and themselves would be phoned. There literally wasn't space to use anything else and I'm sure it was a last desperate effort! They had 2 mins!

I'd love to know how this works.

Yeah, i was thinking to myself , how could a laser possibly find jewellery in a safe.

Some sort of way of measuring a change in density behind a wall/floor like a stud finder would make much more sense.

This is very unnerving. Is every nice Golf in Galway being stalked?

They’re either being taken by people wanting to modify their own cars or being stolen to order. Either way, it’s horrible that you can’t have nice things without them being targeted.
