Hi all,

Firstly, a big thanks to Eoghan Roe for telling me about this group. I've been lurking around the last while having a look and it seems like a great forum here.
My name is Ronan, I drive a BMW 318is E36 and I run the BHP Ireland page on Facebook.
The goal of the group is to arrange cars n coffee style meets to socialise with other drivers during the week.
We hold out meets once every two weeks. This gives a nice bit of time between so people don't get bored.
I am hoping that we can get as many types of car going to these meets, vintage, classic, modern, Euro, Japanese, US etc. as possible.

Car culture as a whole has a seriously bad reputation in Ireland with the general population due to people that misbehave and cause carnage on the roads and we strive to change this attitude or at least have social, responsible meets with like-minded individuals.
We strongly discourage inappropriate behaviour at our meets and encourage social interaction between people (ie. not staring at each other from within their cars).

So with that I'd like to take this opportunity to open this thread (hoping this is all good with the admins. If not let me know), post our meet here with subsequent pictures and discussion and open an invitation to all the members of this forum to attend our meets.

I hope to see you around soon.

Great idea Ronan!

Pity I'm over the other side of the country though!

Enjoyed last night. Good variety of cars and good atmosphere.

I'll try and get along to the next one.

Details for the next event:
Due to popular demand, we are going to start organising these events more in advance to accommodate everyone.
Next week, we will have just one location at Airside Retail Park, Swords (near the McDonalds).
As always we ask that everyone is strictly there for a casual meet. (Inappropriate will not be tolerated)
So have your cars all shined up and we'll see you then.

Our next meet is now online if any of you are interest. With it being summer and all, we'd love to see what you hide away for the rest of the year :P
