Hi all

I am travelling to Wolfsburg, Germany next Saturday with 37 other enthusiasts of the Mk1 Owners Club.

This trip has been a year in the making and should look the biz in one long long convoy.

Our Itinerary looks like this:

Sat 25th Depart Rosslare to Pembroke, head for Bristol, M25 and then Dover.

Sun 26th Depart Dover – Calais ferry, Lille, Antwerpen, Eindhoven, Duisberg, Hamm and Hanover.

Mon 27th Rest Day – day of leisure!

Tue 28th Wolfsburg Museum & factory, Civic Reception.

Wed 29th Return Journey home.

Thurs 30th Home and return to work!

All going well… I'll post up some pics on return. ;)

Hi Folks just an update on our Wolfsburg experience...

Travelled 1800 miles round trip in my mk1 to our base in Hannover and then did two days in Wolfsburg museums and factory tour. Great spot and a real eye opener to what VW do best. The factory was class and massive. We were well received and the 32 cars which went thoroughly enjoyed it.
