The Autostadt Trackday 2015 at Mondello International Race Circuit is open for bookings (finally!). A big thank you to Cupra_R for kicking off the original thread a while back which sparked so much interest in a trackday.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to have some fun getting to know your car and putting it through its paces in a safe environment, on a professional racing circuit, but please note that it is not a racing event.

This is an Autostadt event, hosted by Mondello. Autostadt is a German car site and the emphasis is on giving regulars a chance to track their car, whether German or not. Our aim is to fill the event with Autostadt cars, however, depending on numbers, consideration may be given to friends of Autostadt members who want to track their non-German cars

When:
Friday September 11th. Half day, afternoon session.

Cost:
- €155.45 per car, driver and passenger driver. Price includes approx PayPal fees.

*** We need at least 32 cars for this event to go ahead ***

Payment Details:
- Payments must be made in full, in advance. No deposits will be taken.
- The deadline for payment is Friday August 21st at 5:00pm.
- Once the payments are in and the event is secured, Mondello will not issue refunds at that point.
- If you pay in advance and you don't turn up, Mondello will not issue a refund.
- If you pay in advance and the event does not go ahead, you will be refunded in full.

How do I sign up?
- Add your name to the list below and the payment details will be sent to you in a PM, whereby you can make your payment by PayPal or credit/debit card.

Track Day Details:
- Driver sign-in: 1:15pm-1:45pm (30 minutes).
- Driver briefing: 1:45pm-2:15pm (30 minutes).
- On track: 2:15pm-5:15pm (3 hours).

- All drivers must wear, and provide their own, safety helmets.
- All drivers must wear seat belts while driving at all times.
- All drivers must wear Mondello issued driver wrist bands at all times once signed in.
- All drivers must provide their driving licence on the day.

- Open pit lane.
- Access to five double garage bays.
- Show and shine area.
- Access to museum.
- There's a rumour of some international drivers being on-site to give advice and guidance...
- Maybe some other surprises... .. .

Procedure:
- Please add your name to the list below in the usual manner and the payment details will be sent to you via PM.
- We will be tracking who has paid as we go along.
- Once we reach the target (32 cars), the payments will be sent to Mondello and the event will get five green lights, F1 style!

Whilst Ive no real interest in tracking the Volvo, is there an opportunity to come and park up on the inside and enjoy the craic or is it strictly limited to cars that want to go out on track?

Folks, I have made a bit of a cock-up with the price calculations. I completely forgot to account for PayPal fees for receiving the payments, so I have amended the original thread above to include the Paypal fees, which are €5.45 per transaction, bringing the total to €155.45.
