It was a super trip and well organised. If these were to get very popular this could be split into more than one a year. Maybe doing a retro run , 200 hp plus run or a drive what you bring run.
If there are set routes from other clubs we could look at them. It would be nice also to do a Blessington / Wicklow run and finish in johnnie foxes for dinner.

Getting suggestions like the Vee, Johnny foxes etc is very useful.

I don't mind saying that we struggle to gauge what will suit people.
We probably overthink stuff too but it's all in our attempt to try and do it right and maximise it for people. WAR prep paid off but I guess so did our Rolling Road series and track day which we plan on doing again. However, we don't want to fall into trap of repeating things, making it seem static and all samey.

I wasn't on it, but with these things the worst you can do is try please everyone. You should cycle them, one in the east, one the west , North, south etc. That's 4 times a year and it'll accommodate the most part of members

Aside from local knowledge, there was a lot of recces done to identify suitable spots, routes etc. also. I believe little Andy drive the whole route twice prior to the weekend to gather information.
