The Cannonball Supercars Run will be rolling into the Galway Plaza on Saturday, September 9th at 12pm.
It coincided with Galway Cars and Coffee last year and a good few of us followed them down the motorway.
We left a little late, however, and parking wasn't ideal. Being behind a few dream cars was nice though!
Seeing and hearing over 100 supercars arriving and leaving was something else and it's all for a good cause.
I'm trying to gauge interest in a convoy from Dunnes Stores Car Park in Briarhill (location of C&C meets) to the Galway Plaza on the M6.
If we left shortly after 10.00am, we should be able to get parked together in the petrol station car park and be waiting for them to arrive.
I have rang Cannonball Ireland and asked them if parking spaces will be available behind the petrol station. They are to get back to me about this and I'll give an update asap.
