Thanks again to everybody that attended the inaugural Turas Bothair Chonamara over the weekend. The weather was a huge bonus but it's you, the Autostadt community, that really makes these events. People coming from near and far to join us makes all the planning more than worth it.

As we have done over the past few years, we always like to hear feedback from people about the events. What they liked, what they would like to see in future events etc. All comments are welcome as these help us in the planning for future events.

Thanks again and hopefully we see Turas Bothair Chonamara becoming a fixture on the Autostadt calendar in years to come.

Eoghan and the Autostadt team

I think that it needs to be compulsory for Wills VR to be on all future road trips for the sound alone. Will's own attendance is optional lol :)

It was yet another excellent event imo, very well done to all concerned who helped organised it. The glorious weather was the icing on the cake! I've personally long lost interest in the static / show and shine events tbh... Much much prefer these type of events where there's a bit of fun driving on great routes involved and generally a way more relaxed vibe.

I've only minor feedback really.
I think there were too many stops early on in the day - or it felt like the distance between the stops was a bit too short!
Personally, I'd have much preferred if the final stop over was in the city - or at least someplace closer to the city. If it was, I'd have stayed on for a few beers. I think it would have suited a few more people too.

Agreed with Joe, except I was happier to be in Oughterard than the City.

Ya, only reason I felt that way, is that I myself was a bit in no-mans land... a bit too close to justify staying the night and much too far to get a taxi home later!

Finishing in the city would have increased the amount of people socialising that night very true. I did suggest this but then again I think the fact the whole event was in Connemara itself was nice.

We got great feedback from people not from this side of the country and who stayed up regarding Power's that night, particularly the food and atmosphere and the fact it never got too busy.

Great to get the feedback!

Couldn't fault Power's in any way.
I was surprised ye didn't go to the Alcock and Brown monument or landing site?
And unknown to ye, the Golf Club was a sensational personal touch for Ted2 , he remembered going there as a kid with his dad (RIP) , and on a chance encounter with the Club president, the Big Boss remembered him! Absolutely made Ted2's day.

@ Mike I haven't missed one yet and hope not too in the future.

In terms of feedback the convoy was a little spread leaving Oughterard, difficult to avoid though. Pace a little slow from Killary to the Inagh valley but other than that it was excellent. Yez played a blinder!!
