Thanks to all for organising the day, I had a blast, I can honestly say that I had the best preped and fastest MK1 golf of the day. the spec is simple enough, 115mph in any gear, :p

Here is my good self warming up for a lap, ( if I didn't each trip, under steer and over steer was the order of proceedings) trying to chase down a Tampax civic, (take a close look), he lost me on the straights but I make up some time on the twisty bits.

Looks like you all had a good day, you certainly brought some savage cars! I know myself and Stephen had the craic, we absolutely love running these things and when it's a good busy day with minimal red flags, good driving, great cars and great company, well, what more could you ask for!
Enjoyed meeting you guys although I never get to say hi to as many people as i'd like to.

@Newtown mk1 the tampax civic is driven by one of our regulars, Aoife Brady
@mikefentondrums your reaction when john murphy in the locost passes is priceless!! :)

FYI, we're running another trackday on Saturday 17th November which will incorporate what we hope will be a pretty big cars & coffee style meet with lunchtime parade laps included for those who aren't into the whole tearing round a race track thing. All cars will be welcome, be they classic, modified, road race or rally. More info on that in an upcoming thread.

Behind the mirror Ted, GoPro 5, I had it set at 1080p, 32gb SD gives about 45 mins and the battery is good for about the same, button for on off, android app not worth a crap, it wants to upload all the files at the same time, not too many phone's have 32gb to spare, you can't default to SD card, I used a pc software at work because it's windows 10 only, to down grade the quality to 10 mins is about 200 mb's, so next time I will reduce the quality, should have got a cheaper camera really.

I was raging neither myself or the other Ted brought a GoPro.

Ha! Pat doesn't "follow" anyone unless he happened to be sipping a latte as he cruised around the track admiring the surroundings on a cool down lap :))

As it happens, I did sip a coffee and enjoy cooking an apple tart, pealing the apples with a sword is not recommended but if that's all you have, you have to go for it, simply remove a piston and you have a similar heat to gas mark 6 (360 electric) and a beautiful golden brown crust. Hmmm

You're a legendary man
The smoke was the mother-and-father of a sideways moment, any more and I reckon I'd have been black flagged for drifting... Those long black lines are mine!
Need to wind off some of the back brakes.

Thanks Pat for letting me by as you were on your cooling down lap. Whilst editing videos. And doing some poetry.
