Just in from the meet, great spot and a good turnout, good to speak to everyone I hadn't seen in a while and put faces to the names, nice and relaxed my kinda meet, apart from Declan's mk2 refusing to start in kilcock and towing it to start with a 3 point harness it was a faultless night

Good meet and location. Thanks for organising it Anders.

Great turnout despite the weather. Nice diverse mix of cars from VW, Audi, BMW, Merc, Seat, Skoda and Porsche. Will post some pics up tomorrow.

Modification of the meet has to go to Paul lane on the family passat :)

It involved dropping the driver window and shouting "Cooooooooooo" out the window. Sounded very realistic and didn't cost a penny but I'm sure took plenty of practice all the same.

Ah yeah, it was "cooing" on the way home alright. Got very annoying after a few gearchanges so I stopped. I can only imagine how annoying it would get driving a car that made that sound ALL THE TIME................

For the next meet I'll be practicing my dump valve sounds, wheel arch rubbing noise is gonna take some time to perfect but plans are in the pipeline.

A great turn out! Thank you all for making the effort even with the rotten weather!

Good bit of craic had.

Some features: Combine harvesters, 3 point harness towing, SOLID Merc build quality, Vrs exhaust shenanigans, Duggans fear of the dark, N249 school by Trevor, and of course Planes exit...

Roll on the next one!

Looking forward to seeing your pictures Mike! Loved the 911 btw.

A real talking point. Incredible condition, extremely quiet and refined for a diesel (keep in mind it's a 80's designed car) and some very nice engineering touches to admire.

Time to go home....for some....

Good pics mike, the van is actually on coils funnily enough!! We got home, just about, I could see the already poor mk2 lights getting dimmer and dimmer as we went, I wish I had a look at that merc I just admired from afar, by far my favourite merc era.

Looked a great little gathering and variety of motors, must make a conscious effort to plan the spin up the M4 to the next one, when my own van is hopefully back 100% by that stage. :)
