Keeping in line with the other dealerships launches, Karmann Autos (formerly Bradys Dublin -Castleknock) will have the Mk7 on display tomorrow Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
As with other dealerships, they will have local blurb in to take photos, and there is a guy coming in Monday night to do a "cool" video
Derek McMenamin in Karmann let me in yesterday to take pics of the other 6 golfs. I hope to get loads of pics of the mk7 tomorrow evening and Ill put them up afterwards

They didnt want my Mk6 for the display so it was all alone outside [-(

Great pics bar the green Mk4, doesn't do Mk4's justice at all!

The kept the specs of the mk5 and 6 low as to not take away from the display mk7 as its a base model.. that's why they took only took my mk1 and not my mk6 as well.
I should have some half decent pics of the mk7 up later or some time tomorrow as I'm heading over there now

Lovely Mk1 Cathal, is it as clean as it looks in the photos?

Yeah just had a look at the thread for it, cars that clean are fairly slack on the ground now!

Totally agree with there thinking behind it but a set of alloys on the mk5 wouldn't of went a stray as the mk6 has a set.

Mk1 is beautiful by the way great work it's a credit to you

So I went over last night to see this "cool" movie been made. Jaysus the two guys were perfectionists. I spent over three hours there and in that time they had only recorded about 30 secs.
I will put up a copy of the movie when it gets finished. Here's a couple of pics from last night.. queue the fog machine and lights :ymapplause: and then the fire alarm went off =))

Thanks for the photos Cathal.
No battery cover - just some flimsy plastic origami! Now there's some cost cutting VW...
Interior looks well in HL trim, but the polished surfaces will be very prone to scratching.
As with the last few generation Golfs, I'd expect to see a good few Black (and white - the new black) CL models on the road.

Nice pics. That car is loaded up with costly options though - and they probably won't be standard on the GTI/D either! - i.e. climate control and Sat nav.

The Spec / options pricing is up on the VW website, http://www.volkswagen.ie/content/medial ... 012_v2.pdf
