Saw ur car today Mike, looked great. Called over a few times to say hello but you were busy looking at other metal I'd say.

Got talking to Christie Smith with the 86 911 as he works with the brother, now there's a Porsche fanatic!!

Sorry I missed you Derek.

Did you see the Jensen with the Chevy engine?

For once I was happy with the polish/wax blah combination on the car.

I've a ton of pics of the show but here is one I found one of the lads took of my own car.

Yep, a pal of mines owns it along with a TVR Sagaris, Griffith, 97 911 and a 93 911 Turbo.

He used to own 83LH558 an ex demo of Brian Ricketts back in the day, loves his cars. (and spending money!)

Very unassuming car the Jensen?

That's some stable.

I thought the Jensen was stunning. Not flawless though lol as Darraghs Dad spotted a small point that the wiper arms seems to be on the wrong side - passenger on driver side and vice vearsa. Owner was very appreciative of the remark.

He wasn't too happy when I found 2 rusty screws around the window trims not long after he got it done! :D

Easy fix, still has a fair machine though.

any pics of the Jensen - an Interceptor, i presume?

Theres a chap out the road from here who runs a small garage (he has a lotta cars - some appear covered in moss n grime on DD vintage section, telephone numbers asking price...) anyhow, he has an Interceptor stashed in a shed: he told one of the lads its an ex-John Bonham - led zeppllin owned car.

Interesting read, 600bhp! Interceptor R, what more could you want in a name for a car?

Great show today, I fell in love with that Jenson! Nice little convoy up this morning with Mike, Neilo my brother and old man.

The sun did its job and toasted me nicely!

I think I have a photo of the Jenson, I'll post it up tomorrow.
