Well lads.

March's Galway Autostadt Meet

Date: Tuesday, March 20th

Time: 7.30pm

Location: The G Hotel Underground Car Park in Galway City

We usually head to Edddie Rockets after a while for grub, where a €10 Meal Deal is available to us.

This should be the last indoor meet until later in the year.

We will be moving out to Claregalway for next month's meet and, after a few members suggested it, we will be introducing a small bit of driving into the meets and heading to some nice local places in the months ahead to change things up a bit.

If you are interested in coming along, could I get you to put your name down so I can have an area reserved.

Thanks!Image

That MK1 G60 looks familiar? Real sleeper. Was it Sheridan that posted about it?

Yeah, it’s Sheridan’s car. Very, very cool car.

Yep that’s the one I was thinking of.

The Passat is owned by a man in Loughrea. It has 300,000 miles done!

Really enjoyable evening and lots of new cars.

I mentioned a potential new outdoor location for the summer months to Darren - watch this space.

Yes! Even a convoy from somewhere else to that place might work just to introduce some driving and for some diversity in the pics.

Well lads!

For tomorrow's Meet we'll be meeting outside if the weather is dry.

Location: Claregalway Corporate Business Park on the road between Oranmore and Claregalway Village. Easy access from the M6 Motorway.

Time: 7.30pm

It will be dark before 9pm, so we'll head to the usual spot in Wellpark and can grab a burger in Eddie Rockets.

If it's wet, we'll be in the usual spot in the G Hotel Underground Car Park in Wellpark. The weather isn't looking too good, so we'll probably be inside.

An area will be reserved in Eddie Rockets and an Autostadt meal deal is available.

Did this happen on Tuesday?

I've got tickets to the gowran festival of speed. It's on in.....Gowran park obviously! 15th of July. Plenty of pictures and videos going about. Anyone have interest in going? I've never been before but judging by the pictures it looks like a great day out.
